Kenny Nguyen, PT, DPT

Kenny earned an undergraduate degree in biotechnology from the University of Houston-Downtown and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from The University of Texas at El Paso. He completed a residency in orthopedic physical therapy at the Memorial Hermann Rockets Sports Medicine Institute and is certified as a level-1 USA Olympic weightlifting and USA powerlifting coach.

Kenny’s areas of interest and specialization include spine, shoulder and sports injuries. He is a member of Memorial Hermann’s Spine Program team, and his Memorial Hermann collaborations include treating athletes at Bellaire High School. He is also involved in teaching and research involving the spine and return-to-sport strength training.

Kenny is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Texas Physical Therapy Association.

In his spare time, he enjoys Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting and coaching.
